Sr. Purchase Mortgage Processor

Sr. Purchase Mortgage Processors are responsible for processing purchase money conventional loans and ALT A loans. They are able to recognize possible loan policy and underwriting guideline exceptions that will need to be reviewed with the underwriter as well as have the ability to submit a fully processed quality loan to the underwriter. Processors use exceptional customer service skills to assist the underwriters and borrowers in clearing up any stipulations found on files and interact with the Real Estate Agents by answering their questions. In addition, our processors are responsible for assisting and supporting Loan Officers through all aspects of the loan lifecycle.

Qualifications:

4 or more years of retail mortgage banking and/or retail banking, lending experience
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong knowledge and experience with ALT underwriting and products, regulatory compliance
Experience handling large volumes of loans
Familiar with Desktop underwriting, LP and mortgage software system
Highly organized, works well under deadlines, ability to handle pressure and multitasking
Positive attitude and team player
