Purchase Loan Officer

The purchase loan officer position is a combination of inside and outside sales. All loan officers are provided company generated leads through the BAMC marketing program, affiliated RE/MAX Exclusive Sales Associates, as well as outside purchase business. Loan officers are responsible for providing mortgage services to applicants and prospective customers seeking home financing. Responsibilities also include structuring and locking loans, following up on leads, taking applications and providing excellent customer service. All processing and underwriting is completed in house in a team based atmosphere. In addition, all loan officers are expected to conform to investors and company guidelines regarding each loan request.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2-years of retail mortgage banking experience
Lending environment experience required
Proficient with Desktop Underwriting (DU) and LOS desired
Strong oral and written communication skills (specifically over the telephone, email and internet)
Highly organized, working well under deadlines and able to handle pressure
Positive attitude and a team player
100% Customer Service Attitude toward internal and external customers
Reliable transportation required to meet with customers on an as need basis
